What is Community Acupuncture?
Community acupuncture is a type of acupuncture where instead of the traditional one-on-one private treatment, these sessions are done in a group setting. Because we are treating in a larger room alongside other people, you will be treated either seated or lying down comfortably while remaining fully clothed. The Acupuncturist will only insert needles in places easily accessible- arms, hands ,lower legs, feet, head, and neck.
Once the needles are in, you can relax for as long as you like- anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour and when you are ready to go, simply give us a wave and we’ll remove the needles before you leave.
