November's Full Frost Moon is named for the timing of the first hard frost. This year's this year's full frost moon is also a total lunar eclipse. This happens as the earth moves between the sun and moon. The spiritual meaning of the full frost moon and the lunar eclipse, serves as a reminder of our collective karma and destiny as marked by the place where the sun and moon paths cross.
During this meditation we encourage you to let go of drama and power plays. This full moon brings heightened emotions and offers us perspective. You may wish to center your meditation around aligning with your values and finding security amidst chaos. It is a time for sharing gratitude for simple pleasures and appreciation for peace and calm. When the sun and moon pull in opposite directions, it opens us up to feeling in tune with our bodies and our senses.
The cosmic energies of a lunar eclipse can be a bit chaotic, so you might like to have some grounding healing crystals or mala beads for your meditation. Full moon lunar eclipses like these often bring huge shifts, sudden endings, or powerful emotional surges that can force us to let go of things and to shift our gears. Try to embrace whatever the universe sends you and break free of what is holding you back.
Think of the Full Frost Moon as motivation to create action and transformation in your life. Finish goals and intentions that you have set. Think about what is most important to you. Meditate on what you need to create or do to keep negative energy from influencing your spiritual and physical well-being.
