Ginger is among the healthiest spices. Due to powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant effects, it is effective at reducing the progression of muscle pain. It can also help reduce exercise induced muscle soreness. Both ginger and cinnamon encourage circulation, which in turn helps relieve some aches and pains.
What you'll need:
- 1/2 cup coarsely ground sea salt or Epson salt
- 3 teaspoons peeled, ground or grated ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 5 drops orange essential oil (optional, i recommend doTERRA wild orange)
Combine all ingredients and stir well. Add to your hot bath swish around and soak. Use immediately.
